I do not support the separation of church and state. I believe in the separation of “state from the church”. The church belongs in government as our founding fathers intended. Keep the government out of our religion and values. I will push to remove all state (government) influence against religion.

Our founding fathers as far back as the pilgrims never intended to separate church and state. In fact, their intention was to keep the state out of the church. The pilgrims left because they wanted to worship God freely in their own way. The founding documents of this country from the Mayflower Compact to the Constitution and Bill of Rights all put God and people first, not the government. The letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists was used to support this “separation of church and state” idea. However, that letter says “nothing” that would support such a concept. First, it’s a letter not a governing document. Second, Jefferson completely removed the segment they use for their support of separation. In other words, just like anyone else Jefferson edited it out and threw away the section as something he did not want to say. Third, the removed section is “interpreted” incorrectly. It’s pretty clear that Jefferson did not intend to separate church and state. Rather as you can see below, Jefferson intended to allow full freedom of religion in the state and did not want “state controlled” religion…

Congress thus inhibited from acts respecting religion, and the Executive authorised only to execute their acts, I have refrained from prescribing even those occasional performances of devotion, practiced indeed by the Executive of another nation as the legal head of its church, but subject here, as religious exercises only to the voluntary regulations and discipline of each respective sect.

Reading this I still struggle with how it could be interpreted to keep the church out of the state? In fact, it states the opposite “Congress thus inhibited from acts respecting religion”. But that doesn’t really matter does it? Common sense dictates that Jefferson removed this section because he did not intend for it to be considered part of his letter. That is logical. It makes sense. We often write something then change it until we have said what we wanted. Previous versions are discarded, not codified into law.

However, this discarded section is used to pervert Jefferson’s actual intention. Somehow the law has seen this as keeping the church out of state, but allowing the state to interfere with the church. Frankly, I do not know how they came to that conclusion? It is not there. And this section was removed – Jefferson specifically intended it to be discarded.

This concept violates all intentions of our founding fathers from the pilgrims to our first congress. Yet our supreme court and many other courts have used this clause as a rule of law. They have used it to separate the church from the state. Something never intended by our founding fathers.

Keep in mind that this discarded section is not a law or a proposal for a law. It wasn’t even intended to be in the letter. This section was in all truth – thrown away, trash! The manipulation of the first amendment has led to the perversion of our entire legal system.

Conception is the start of life! Researchers at Northwestern University near Chicago documented that each individual life starts with a spark of light. This happens exactly at the moment when a sperm enters the egg. The new human inside of mothers womb has come to life in a fiery explosion of light coming from the egg. I believe this is when God sends our soul into our newly started body.

The theory of evolution claims that a single cell is life. All of science says a single cell is life. After that flash of light, a human egg starts dividing into many cells within 24 hours after fertilization. This embryo grows into fully functional human baby over the next 9-months. There is no reason to define a human embryo as anything other than a human life.

I believe in the value of human life and he will support life in all phases of the human cycle from conception to the grave.

This is a hot topic around the world, but the answer is quite simple. Does a human have the right to their own life? In America, the law states that to take a human life is murder.
The 1st amendment gives us the right to life:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

I won’t go into the invalid arguments of “when does life start” or “a fetus isn’t human”. Facts are facts. Biology is biology.

The bible tells us the importance of children:
Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
